Hi All,

can someone help plz. The life in the uk test - does that have to be taken in English or can it be studied and taken in Urdu.

people im worried now i did not giv three months pay slips all i gave was my p60 and a had writen letter from the store manager as my employment and my self employed accounts of my ltd company.

will these be ok?

I believe the whole point of the life in uk test is so applicants show a knowledge of english, either that or you have to pass the ESOL level one.

Oahmed i am sorry to hear that u got refuse just keep strengh and i am sure everything will go well for you . i wud suggest u to re-apply with enough evidences as appeal takes almost one year so reapplyin is better !

Hi evry1 my status on websites still the same.I hope we hear 4rm them soon can't wait for my hubby to come nemore.I have emailed them twice and iv got no reply from them so thats not helping.

i emailed then nearly 2 weeks ago they havnt replied to me yet and personally i dnt think they will. im not sure if i should email then again.

yeah i dnt tink theres any point in emailing them again and again if we get no reply.We just have to be patient i applied on the 17th july jst 3dayz aftr u.So my hope is when u hear 4rm gerrys il be hearing from them after u hopefully.Iv got a feeling we'l be hearing from them before the 25th this month.

yeh thts what i was thinking tht we should hear from them by 25th or 26. il be so gutted if its rejected after all this wait and tht il have to wait another 7 months 4 and appeal.

Yeah i knw lets hope it doesnt get rejected.I can't belive they pick up on very little details.Are u working? Full time or part time? I hope theres nothing wrng wid my papers.Kp me updt on the forum if theres any change..

i work part time in a retail shop and also have a 50% share in a firm. how about u?

I work part time but then iv started workin at anthr place part time telesales so iv gt 2jobs part time.But the new job i had only 1month pay slip so i hope it doesnt affect my case.The old job i provided them with over 6months pay slips.

i only gave a p60 for my job and my company accounts i hope they dont make and issue out of me nt giving payslips but i did have a letter from my employer saying i work ther and etc. it was hand written though.

thts what worries me if it is rejected bcuz of tht. :'(

Ye i gave a p60 i tink or p45 dnt knw wich and my work letter was typed on the computer and the new job letter was done by the accountant who does my new job slips.That dsnt worry me but aprntly u have to get a letter 4rm the local jobcntre to say u dnt receive any benefits but i ddnt get dat letter.Apart 4rm that i hopefully had evrytn.

its a p60 not a p45. p45 is whn u leave work i should knw i work as a trainee accountant. i didnt knw u had to giv a letter from job centre? who tld u this?

This was written on the paper that my uncle gave me he helps people apply for their cases and tells them which papers are required.Whoever has applied the way he says has got their visas so i hope i get mine.Inshallah evrytn will be alright for evry1 and u.
