Yes thats right...

The completed applications should be sent to this address (if by courier)...
Applications sent by Courier
If you wish to send your application by Courier, the delivery address is:

Hi Kaff,

Mine is not in country application. I am in India. My reference # is also 2231**. When did you last called them? What was the most recent status you got?

IICOOL, I only sent email to them requested an update on my application on 25/07, and they replied below.
"Dear applicant

Your application is currently awaiting to be allocated to a caseworker
"
I may ask them on phone today or on Monday, wondering will they mind about getting update on regular basis?

Dear All~

Can you tell which mode of fee pay is the best?

Cheque - Never made an international cheque before. Plus doubtful if the currency rates change when the cheque reaches there.

Credit Card - I dont have my own. If I choose to use then ill be using my sister's card. Dont know if I can do that.

No clue abt the DD though I read quiet a few people sending DDs but I there is no mention abt DD in the Hsmpguidelines. It rather says UK Postal order.

Am confused as i dont want my application to be sent back just for the fee problem

My HSMP Update

Post by cdraina » Fri Jul 27, 2007 6:16 am

Called HO on 26th. The automated system says " Currently working on applications received on 28th June". Looks like they are not keen on updating that announcement. I sent my application on 9th July and the case worker is assigned. I have sent additional documents that have reached HO, but not yet linked to my file.

Application Submitted: 4th July
Application reached HO: 9th July
Fee debited: 10th July
Got Reference Number and Payment confirmation: 11th July
Sent additional documents: 23rd July
Assigned to caseworker: 26th July

Wish me luck friends!

Cheers!

Hi J,
You can get a international DD done from any bank. And once u have the DD ready, in the HSMP application tick the "Cheque" option and fill in the DD number there.
Dont bother about the currency changes ,thats the bank's problem..neither urs nor the HSMP team's.

Cheers.

Dear rrst_101

Just confirming,

1 - you sent a DD?

2 - how many days did it take to debit?

3 - International cheque means it will be a cheque made for 400 GBP?

am really skeptical of making a DD as it is no where mentioned in the guidelines... if anyone elses fee has been accepted using DD then please let me know.
or
any other option as the credit card i use is my sister's and not mine. Dont know if I can use it here too???

Hi J,

1 - you sent a DD? -
Yes, I sent a Deutche bank DD.Got it done through Thomas Cook.

2 - how many days did it take to debit?
It took 3 days to debit.

3 - International cheque means it will be a cheque made for 400 GBP?
Yes go to any bank and get a DD of 400 GBP in favour of
"Home Office,Work Permits (UK)".

Dont worry even a bit about DD, even though it takes 3 - 4 days to debit ,the payment is 100% guaranteed unlike the credit/debit cards whcih usually fail.
And about the giudelines, I think they consider DD and cheque one and the same.

Cheers,
rrst_101.

Hello,
Thank You all on this forum for the support provided.
i have received my HSMP. I will be glad to help folks out here, with all i can.
timelines:
docs sent 27th June
reference number (e-mail): 10th July
Decision made 21st July

I was also worried after the ITR stuff, but i guess submitting multiple evidences gets things corraborated.
for earnings i had submitted:
-ITR ack
-Form16
-Bank Statement and a letter stating my salary from X company was being put in Y Bank
-Wage Slips

Good Luck.
