Hi last question before i post in the morning

Have prepared everything and as my husband is the applicant and does not need to exercise treaty right I enclose for him only his passport and our marriage certificate.

But i just read you initial post in the beginning of the thread you say he needs to provide Id, marriage certificate and proof residency. What documents should he give to prove residency? Am i right in thinking the documents I have provided to prove the 5 year relationship which are in joint names are sufficient enough to prove his residency? or should he add maybe other bills in his name?

You are right to be cautious.
A member in another thread has, sadly, just reported a citizenship refusal due to not realising they had to provide proof of hubby's circumstances (including, in that case, proof of PR).

Suggest submitting as much as you can about hubby/sponsor.
After all, why give HO the Spam of 'wriggle room'?!

Yes, some material may be shared if in joint names. You can top it up with items in hubby's name.

And don't forget you need to prove you can avail of the 2012 transitional arrangement so that you can still be considered as the EEA national sponsor.
So enclose hubby's original RC from 2011 :!: :!: :!: (& your cogent, explanatory cover letter).

:!: Suggest keep scans & copies of everything you are submitting (including all documents, form, payment information) for your reference and in case of any HO query &/or any future dispute.

right yes I have been digging for more letters and bills in his name or jointly in our names...

But he doesn't need to show payslips, bank statements etc. right? As he doesn't need to proof treaty right correct?

In joint names we have:

tenancy agreements
HMRC Tax credits letter for all 5 years in both names as a couple
marriage certificate
letters from letting agencies
a few bills
etc

You are correct, he doesn't have to prove exercise of treaty rights - it's just all about residency in UK.

How about: tax documents, council tax bills, medical letters, doctor/dentist/optician registration &/or letters, library or gym membership, driver's license, any car tax/car insurance letters, NI document or letter, any EHIC (if any) & etc etc.

I am banking with Barclays and have been receiving my statements online. I called them and said I need originals sent to my house by post. They told me that the ones online are originals so i should print. So printed them and they are in colour and look original but they are not stamped. I noticed in the guidance notes they say if you are printing them then get them stamped. Called Barclays again they said they don't stamp bank statements and th ones online are the originals.

Have you had any other posts on this subject? Maybe someone else who does banking with Barclays and has experience?

As posted in reminder above, have you also included the 2011 RC and cogent cover letter?

Have you scanned and copied everything too?

Yes I have written a cover letter and we both signed it.

Have also included his passport with RC card in it which was issued in 2011 and my 2 passports (Bulgarian and British)

I am sending only originals but yes I have copied all the most important documents apart from bank statements which I can always print again. Not sure what you mean by scanned? I did not need to scan anything

ok, good.

I just meant scanned on a scanner so you can keep a soft (electronic) copy of documents as well.
If you have photocopies at least, well that's a start and may be enough.

I'm hoping they don't loose my originals as it will take me ages to recover them.

I am making copies for myself right? I don't need to send copies to them.

What do u think about those bank statements?

Yes, copies are just for your reference.

Suggest go to local branch & ask them to stamp your printouts (or print/stamp fresh copies) for you.
My branch of H~ does that for me.

My guess it cannot. I fear your clock towards husband's PR restarted in December 2014. It means PR will be aquired December 2019.
This is the first time I read about the 30 days without Treaty Rights rule. Is this true?

Also do you absolutely have to register yourself as a jobseeker?

I was a jobseeker for 2-3 weeks a few years ago, but didn't register anywhere.

Yes, I bank with H~ and, on occasion, they have kindly printed off and stamped statements for me on request (and free of charge).

Hopefully no loose ends.

Sit tight and relax now. There is the Eurovision song contest to take your mind off things.

Best of luck.

payment taken 16th May

do we now wait for COA or letter requesting my husband to book appointment to give his biometric info?

Dear ivetalopes,

For Non-EU PR application:-

After payment is taken, you will get a letter inviting you to submit biometrics at the post office (cost £19.20). Looking at the timeline, it takes about a month after submitting your application.

When you say for non EU you mean the applicant is a NON EU national?

As we are applying through the EU route
