Hi everyone

I am on 88 WD today since my biometrics- applied on 28th of June.

After the not straightforward email, I chased for an update and then was told by the enquiries team that a decision has been made to wait for VAC to contact. Still didn't hear anything so I enquired again and they have escalated it for a 2nd time now. Then I received an email from the Sheffield escalations team to say that there are processing delays etc. Now I am just waiting...its very stressful and frustrating. Hope we all hear positive news soon IA

Same, there's a relief in that sense.. at first I was really stressed thinking that it's just me as on the other forums people who applied after us have received their visas. I don't know why they are delaying it so much, seems to be only us who applied in June who haven't heard anything yet.

Would you say that your application was straight forward? Also they didn't contact you to ask for any documents, interview etc. right?

I feel like all the emails they are sending out are just generic as half of them are not even relevant- maybe just a cover up for them as there are delays from their side.

InshaAllah we will hear soon, you are all in my duas too 🤲🏻

They did not contact me for any sort of document. And my case was quite straighforward. I fulfilled all of their requirements and submitted everything required, even additional documents which they didnt ask for.

It’s going to be 90 working days for me on Monday and on Wednesday it’ll be 15 working days since the second escalation but still not heard anything back! It’s really testing my patience, have you heard anything? It’s just ridiculous that’s it’s been 4 months and we’ve got no decision

Your timeline is exactly the same as mine.. 90 WD for me on Monday too. I can understand I'm really frustrated about all of this myself, I haven't heard anything since my second escalation either. I know 4 months now it's just ridiculous.. my application is quite straight forward as well so for certain I know that their 'not straight forward' emails are just generic as a cover up for them. Hopefully we hear soon.. I don't know what more we can do to chase it up with them

Thats a long time you have been waiting. Was your biometrics first week of June?
Within 24 weeks they need to have decided on 100% of all the applications so hopefully you should be hearing soon, as with everyone else

Still trying to convince UKVI about our passports submission.... Sadly
Hope you get a positive news soon. Its strange that your passports cannot be tracked despite paying such huge amount of money to vfs and ukvi.
THIS IS WHAT MY MP HAS TOLD ME
I’ve just finished speaking with the Home Office team. They gave an apology for the confusion over passports- they have been received. They told me they are on the last checks and hoping for a decision soon, in the next few weeks.
Please let us know if you don’t hear anything

I THINK HOME OFFICE HAS GIVEN LOLLIPOP TO MY MP

So did your MP speak to the Home Office and this is what they told him? That's good, atleast they have given the MP a proper answer and I'm glad to hear that the passports have been received.

Seems like we have to chase after the Home Office only then they tell you something otherwise they do not communicate anything.

I received an email back from the Sheffield escalations team to say that my application is in process and is undergoing checks- very similar to what you have been told.

I hope we all hear positive news soon! We've been waiting far too long now

My MP has helped me a lot to sort out my family passports issue. UKVI has been spending me emails to submit pasdports at VAC. I have tried to convince UKVI by myself but that did not work. Now my issue is resolved through my MP, though decision is not yet made.
