AussieDude,
I have been a silent viewer of this forum but I can't keep my silence any longer - do you mind not making a mockering of this forum. Its great that you got your approval but please show some respect for others. You are giving the rest of us Aussies a bad name.

I completely agree with you. Reading Aussie Dudes post one often wonders if Australia is such a bad place that the guy is so excited about being approved on the HSMP. A lot of his posts are completely useless and some irrelevant.

hi all - for everyone's information:

in country applicant

22/1 - sent application
23/1 - received by hsmp
24/1 - reference no received by email: 205xxx
26/1 - approval decision
27/1 - letter and all docs received

didn't expect this quick turnaround, but it happens.
good luck to everyone else

Hey branch_out_1

Maybe I won;t have to leave Australia now that your gone - this place will be a lot better without you.

Please tell me if you get your HSMP rejected - if your a reject, then I better get out of this place, I have a feeling your the one who is making Australia a bad place (along with Mr Howard)

G'Day All,
I have been reading this forum since late October 2006, gathering as much information as I can concerning the various HSMP processes. In the end, I decided to give it a try and put together my application, which was sent from Australia. Here are the details:

Application Sent: 5/12/06 by Australia Post (Express Courier International)
Application Received: 11/12/2006 (as tracked on the EMS International Courier website)
Credit Card Charged on 11/12/2006
Application Approved on 15/12/2006

All documentation was received late December (not sure of the exact date, as I have already left the country for Africa by that time).

List of documents include:

1. Covering letter with a brief note about myself, and a list of the documents attached - I place each separate document in its own sleeve in a folder and the sleeves are labelled with a letter of the alphabet, which is then referenced in the covering letter;
2. Master degree certicate;
3. Bachelor degree certificate + letter from the univeristy stating that the degree was tought in English;
4. Payslips from Employers covering the first 12 months (of the 15 months prior to application);
5. Tax Assessment notice from the ATO for the financial year July 2005-June 2006. I've also included Group Certificates from the employers;
6. Bank Statements for the 12 months claimed - I did not highlight the individual payments on the statements.

All documents are originals.

Thanks to all those people who have contributed positively in this forum. Hope the information will help those applying from Australia. All the best to you all!

I have posted docs through royal mail on Saturday. The request reached on Monday and reflecting in the system.

Awaiting review decision.
