Hello mate...the answers from ukba advisors are so abrupt so i think it would be very hard to say anything...but in general most of the appilcants got decisions made in less than a week once it is allocated to a case worker..good lucjk

Thanks rnr79.I think you are a superb contributor to this forum.hope your opinion of application been decided in less than a week after been alocated to case worker comes true.

Is there Any one with such experience? I mean once application is been allocated to case worker, how long does it take for a decision to be made.

Having called UKBA many times i could class the responses into two segments

I ve spoken to men only twice

1. might be in june or july -----Allotted to caseworker
2. In august final decision to be made.

With ladies

Always (that does include today ) awaiting caseworker allocation.

Has anyone got this strange responses.

I understand your frustration...Its really daunting waiting for the decision...I wish there was a same day premium service for this as well... I am really hoping that all applicants get their decision soon.

Have you got the same response from men & women .Does it contradict.
Does It always contradict or always in line with your previous call irrespective of gender.

I've now entered my 15th week of waiting. I am sick. :'(
Called this morning, still in queue.

What annoys me the most is the deliberate LIE the operators tell in order to avoid having to justify the delay. They say "The average is 6 months" when we all know that while some applications CAN take 6 months, the average is not 6 months, more like 8-10 weeks. But by saying so they instantly make a huge delay look normal when in fact it is not.

They are worthless.
