Yes living together over a year and a child should be more than enough evidence to show you have a durable relationship with your partner and family links in the UK.

I believe your RC will be issued to you in a few months

Keep us updated with your timeline and good luck!
Sent application on 24/03/15 revived acknowledgement on 26/04/15 and revived coa with no right to work on 10/04/15

Hello Everyone!

I have applied for my EEA FM visa for myself and both of my parents, Im praying everything will be ok.

02/04 - Sent applications
07/04 - Applications recieved
16/04 - Recieved letter from UKBA that they have recieved everything.

Hopefully we will get our COA within 3 weeks hopefully!

Our application is quite complicated (it weight 2.6Kg!) so hopefully it will be ok.

Guys, to all of you who have either received their documents and/or the RC, do you need to be home and sign for them, or they just drop them like regular mail?

Thanks!

Hey guys,

As promised, wanted to update you on returning to the UK while my EEA 2 is still in limbo. Returned from the US today, went through the "Other Passports" line, and had no problems. We literally just handed our passports to the IO, and she was wonderful. We said we lived in the UK. She found my EEA Permit (which is expired?) and she went ahead and stamped me in and let us off. No questions, no need to show the COA or our marriage cert. Could not be more opposite to our last experience. I really think it's up to who you get. Hopefully, though, I'll have my RC by the time I have to travel again at the end of June (it will be 6 months from COA at that point).

Best of luck to all :)

Blinxy wrote:Hi all,

A few months ago I posted because I was worried , after 3 months I didn’t get my COA. Here is a new update about my situation.

Application sent: 09/12

HO received:12/01

Email of confirmation: 13/01

Letter of confirmation:20/01

After calling, emailing and waiting, sending letters, I decided to open a ticket on whatdotheyknow FAQ and ask why I didn’t receive my COA after 3 months waiting for it. A few days after they send me back my application. The reason was that they were not able to process the payment. The letter was dated 29th of January!!!! I received it 11th of March…..After verification they didn’t try to withdrawn the money from my account. So here is the new timeline:

Application Returned due to fees : 11/03

Re-applied with a postal order:12/03

HO received: 13/03

Email of confirmation: 16/03

Letter of confirmation: 20/03

COA: 25/03 (dated 20/03) with right to work

RC: waiting

@toraqa We have kinda the same timeline so let me know when you get your RC PLEASE.

Hi Blinxy

What number did you try calling them on. I need to find out why I haven't receivedmy COA

Hi there,

I had trouble last time getting through, and was stamped in as a tourist. I have only been out for less than a week's time both times. Initially, I think the issue was with the IO. This time it seems as if my EEA FP (which expired in January) was good enough to get through without question.

At least that's what I think! We had COA and MC and proof of my partner's employment (exercising treaty rights) just as back-up, but it wasn't needed.

Hope that's helpful?
