You are luck to be at home.

I got a project deadline and its stress from all the directions.

Besides I sent a mail to BHC for which I will usually get a reply in one hour time and today this is not the case.

Something tells me that they have taken my case. what an imagination isnt it?

guys,

i started this thread and i really dint expect my thread to get 800 posts...thanks to all & i wish you all to get ur EC's soon.

One good thing which i observed is no bad news from anyone..so all who are in this thread can relax and hope for good news only and you guys will get it...

Reg. my passport just now confirmed from VFS tat they are couriering it today evening and i can receive the same tomrw..

tak care guys..wil post the news tmrw or will pitch in if you guys need any help..

you dunno my situation.Lol..In my office they are pestering daily about my visa and asking me to take up deputation to UK which i have said no..and my boss is pestering me daily to say what is my decision or he will look for my replacement!! Am in such critical situation and thats why dint wanna go and face it all day..lol..Its sometimes better to be at home with lots of pampering and delicious food and a day fully filled with love!! is it not!!

Feel thankful to your hubby/wife yar!!

Yes shridar , do update us tommorrow after receiving ppt from which date the visa is stamped

so now , after status update online , bhc is taking one more day to hand over to blue dart - seems like they keep lengthening the process times every day.

i agree with venky , it is real difficult to concentrate on other things at work right now

Good question & infact i cant go out of this forum or thread even after getting EC(i suppose..

)...so here goes my answer..

1) Its safe to go to uk with job in hand and it will solve all the initial hurdles like accomodation, money, project, people you work with etc..
2) i get a good feel lik how UK is & where i shd be to grow more..
3) if i feel oneday that what i am earning from my comp is less than wt i deserve may be i wil look for some other chance but honestly i will stick to the same comp cos we never know wat we get in future..
4) some other reason being we cant predict how the UK interviews will be & i may not clear for some reason which i can rectify while being wrking in my comp..
5) obviously i will try offers from day 1 to switch myjob when i reach there but i wont do it unless i feel confident and its gives me a good earning and which wil give a good shape for HSMP extension..

last but not least flight charges are gona be free...i wil get immediate advance salary for next month + indian salary for all the months which i wil work there..wt more do i need?

I have applied for EC on 4 Jan @ Hyd VFS.
I have got a couple of doubts senior members pls clarify me...

1. How do I know if at all INTEGRA has happened, I can not ask my HR as I work with a Fortune 50 company where in, this option is ruled out.
2. I have shown liuqid funds upto 4.5 lacs (partly shares and rest cash), now that I am in a situation where in I have to use say nearly 1.5 lacs of cash. Will doing so affect my EC decision??????

I was there in UK for 4 years as a student. I also got a job offer to work for my employer in UK.

Hi friends..

Im sorry for posting this issue in this thread .. but i hope you guys are more experienced to show me the way.

I got approval on NOV 22nd and my documents are posted on the same day via Airmail , but still i havent recieved my docs. I came to know that documents are posted at wrong address my house num is wrongly written by HO people and the worst part is there is no from address on the cover(I enquired with my postman). My postman says that docs are dispatched to GPO,Hyd and there is no reference num coz docs are posted by ordinary post not registered. GPO guys says that they will not keep the foreign articles morethan 2 days and they will send them to RLO(Return Letter Office)(Foreign),Mumbai.

When i called to RLO,Mumbai they said that they delivered it to RLO,London.

So guys this is my sad story .. now how can i track my documents?

Now my question .. does any body got approval letter by Airmail without having from address on cover?

So friends plz help me

Just curious...you said you will be paid in indian salary for your time in UK...so do you mean to say that when u file for FLR, you will submit your indian payslips? Does it work that way?

I observed that BHC is not changing status properly. Some of our friends have experienced this.

Send a mail to BHC...

But be careful sometimes u get "Do Not Disturb" reply.... like u can contact them by Feb 20th or 30th.
