Hi guys, a quick question. i applied (family) in July 1st week. expecting approval in sep/oct. however, i am planning a 3 months sabbatical in oct-dec. since i have applied thru NCS, does it really matter if im not in the country and approval comes while im not here?

Does UKBA care in to check these info? Any views?

Dont think you HAVE to be in country to recv the letter... however you have a three month window to take your oath. If you miss that, you prob have to contact HO...

called UKBA for update on my naturalisation and my son's registration. they told me its waiting for allocation to case worker. does this mean its now 'really in the Q' or should I take that as one of the standard answer? getting a bit desperate due to some difficult personal circumstance.. and not getting a clear answer do make it even more difficult.

guys i have managed to book an appointment for Wednesday 24/08 at Crawley office.

Can you please tell me if i need to carry the interview letter? I have been told by call centre guy that I need that letter

I did the online tracking and was informed that my application has been processed. so i decided to call them to obtain the reference no., which they gave over the phone and the lady even gave me the no for booking line and told me that I can book the appointment now. so i just called that no and did it.

regarding my docs, she said they are awaiting courier to pick the docs.

If you get the letter by then, bring it with you. Otherwise the reference number is good enough.
They should already have all the information they need about you. that's the whole point of the interview

appointments are hard for London/Reading. 1st available slot was 1st week of Sep

i had my letter at the door when i got home, booked first week sept at victoria london. . Cant be bothered travelling far to get the pp one week early

i pray for everyone....but its hard to belive on the call advisor. the advisor for nice and gave me some usefull information. he said to because your application with nearly 3 mounths now so its in the Q its in the process because we have to decided between 3 to 6 mouth and also said allow some more time. we will wirite and tell you about decision and also said IF we need any further documents we will let you know so its into the process for consideration and lets hope everyone get approval in the same time i wish you goodluck
