hello everyone,

I sent my application with the new form EEA (FM).
my wife is European citizen and my sponsor.

I did my biometric enrollement at the post office on 5/06/2015 (a little bit more than one week).

when I supposed to receive the COA with right the work until the decision of home office after I did my biometric enrollement?

It's urgent because I have a new good job for 6 months.

Thanks a lot.

Hi,

Could anyone please help on the following?

If the RC application takes more than 6 months to be processed, will an applicant still have the right to work after 6 months? (assuming applicant has a COA with right to work)

I mean does the COA get automatically renewed or does it expire?

Thanks in advance

RC, the COA is valid until any decision has been made on your residence, and that I believe includes any time invested in appeals in case things did not work your way with the first try.

The decision on whether to employ you or not will of course be someone else´s, but legally accoridng to the COA you are entitled to work until stated otherwise.

For those that contacted the HO requesting information on their application, what phone number did you use?

Hello guys,

What happens when you send your application without special delivery envelope? Do they send it first class or second class? And do you need to stay at home to sign for?
Thanks!

Hello, I am an EEA citizen and we applied for an EEA2 permit for my Husband

This is our timeline:
3. December - Application submitted
18. December - COA with no right to work
27. January - New COA with right to work
23. March - Interview in Liverpool
9. June - Surprise Home Visit from UKBA

We have been calling the UKBA to ask for status updates but the response was always that everything is still in process and no updates so far.

We live in one room together in a shared house. The Home office is aware of this.
We also are both working full time office hours 9 to 6. AGAIN: The Home Office is aware of this.
On 9th June 2015 the home office came to our house for a surprise visit (even though they are aware we my Husband and I work full time). The Home Office is well aware that we live in a shared accommodation and that we are both working full time 5 days a week.
So why would they choose to come by at such an inconvenient time? To me this makes absolutely no sense.

Our 6 months time line has finished already and still no RC. :? :!:

What should we do??
Thanks for anyone who can help with their advice! (Please do not send private messages as I cannot open my messages).

I'm a Feb applicant and still waiting as well
Judging from the Jan applicants' timeline, I guess we won't receive any answer before mid July... (i.e. more than 4 months after application).
This is depressing...

Hello,
Below is my timeline:
Married to EU national.
Application sent - 11/May
Acknowledgement Recvd - 16/May
Biometric letter Recvd - 26/May
Biometric sent - 27/May

Waiting for COA. I am currently on Tier 2 ICT valid till Aug end. Got 2 questions:
- Was expecting COA in 2 weeks based on timelines in this forum. Its been 3 weeks now. Is this normal?
- People with existing work Visa (like my case) - Did you recieve COA as well or does the home office do not send since we have work right and we have to call and request.

Appreciate your inputs.
