As I mentioned earlier average processing time is much faster and backlog of previous years was a bottleneck. Believe me it is not "luck" but Home office has some kind of processing guideline like every other organisation.

All the best!

Hi,

I think I kind of understand your question. So you apply for ILR, then you will receive an acknowledgment letter from UKBA. Then they will take your biometric a week or 2 later. It is after then your application begins.

I mean that if I apply for ilr for instance
On 05/11/2013 but register my biomatric
On 05/12/2013.... And any other applicant
Apply 15/11/2013 and register biomatric on
25/11/2013. So in this case which application will be
Ahead in processing que?

Thanks

Post by Ibthisam » Wed Nov 06, 2013 12:30 pm

Hello everyone,

It seems to me it's a good news for all of us regarding the processing time, just 11days from Biometric enrolled in the first week of September 2013.

Please check the following link:

https://www.whatdotheyknow.com/request/ ... 3.pdf.html

I'm still worried about my original post, a guru may be able to give me a good news.

With kindest regards
Ibthisam
Hi All, following is posted elsewhere to get some information on what's really happening to my ILR(LR) application.

I thought my post will benefit on this forum too for anyone in the same situation.

My post as follows:

Dear All,
I sent my ILR(LR) application on 21 of August 2013 and biometric enrolled on 5th of September 2013.
I received my SAR file today applied about 6 months ago.

It says on a page called CID Calender Events, 28-sep-2013 it's at Centre: Liverpool-Nationality booked by unit Managed Migration Support Team, and status: completed.

What does it mean by status completed? Why has it ended up in Liverpool - Nationality?

Has a decision already been made on my case?

Please share your ideas.

Sincerely
Ibthisam.

For You are my hope; O Lord GOD, You are my confidence from my youth. By You I have been sustained from my birth; You are He who took me from my mother's womb; My praise is continually of You ...

I got ILR approval letter today! I will update when card arrives.

Please kindly update Skydrive on me.

18.2 weeks since application and 16.6 weeks since biometrics.

They are getting faster now, hopefully you all will not wait very long. Also, the overall amount of this type of applications is reduced this year, so it should also help to process them quicker now.

between 2 September and 8 September 2013 was 11 days.

Congrats janutnt38 and Maxwell. Best of luck for the future.

I just have a question about my biometric letter. I still haven't received one. I got my acknowledgement letter on 30th Sept 2013. But still no biometrics letter. What can I do if they letter is lost in the post? I'm starting to worry that may be I'll be refused and hence, they didn't send me a biometric letter.

I don't think this is right.

I sent my application on the 14th August, did my biometric on the 3rd September, and I am still waiting.

I think it is best to think that your application will take 6 months to complete. I have completely forgotten about it and can't believe it has been 3 months since I applied.

Don't worry. 6 days including weekend is too short for biometrics letter to arrive anyway. Look at Skydrive for more detailed timelines. :)

Thank you for congratulations guys! :D You will get yours soon.
