EEA FM sent 10/6/15
Received by Home Office 11/6/15
Payment charge on account 15/6/15
Biometrics letter arrived 19/6/15 dated 17/7/15
Biometrics enrolled 22/6/15
Requested Passports 13/6/15
Got passports 20/6/15
COA waiting..

Still waiting for the COA, we will need both to travel at the end of the month, hope it gets here before that date.

Also, does anyone knows if changing the correspondence address temporarily affects anything? Can I also do it online as the request of the passport? How long till it gets updated? Thanks!

This is my 2nd attempt to apply for EEA Residence Card becuase the first time I sent one on 29/4/15, the Charging department didn't indicate my payment in the system so the caseworker cancelled my application by mistake. I sent a complaint letter which got them to investigate what went wrong and email me an apology, so now I'm starting all over again.
Sorry to hear that, this is just taking too long....
Where did you send the letter to? Liverpool? Did you address to the same person who wrote the biometrics letter?
Hi lyztge! First one I sent through email using the website gov.uk complaint form and the second one was addressed to the caseworker at Liverpool who handled my first application.

I can see we have almost the same timeline. Hopefully we can get our COA next week..

So you request your passport before your biometric, even before money had taken. Have you request your partner's passport only or both.

My wife and I apply same time (me for EEA FM, her for EEA QP) we request passport individually. Her passport backed. We are still waiting for mine and no COA yet.

I think many EEA citizens can have an ID card in addition to their Passport. We also applied EEA QP at premier service.

Do you mean applying QP and FM together in premier service? Is it possible? than how long does it take to get RC?

No, only QP can use premier service. There is no way to get RC issued earlier, so we all just have to wait

sure, we got married in april 2014, I'm lebanese and my partner is spanish, i got a EEA FP visa before moving to the UK, my partner has a permanent residency in the uk and been employed with the same company for over 10 years, so exercising treaty right was east to proof, i sent them p60s of the past 5 years, company letter, utility bills with his name and address on, loads of photos, calls logs, Facebook messages with dates clearly shown etc..

when i sent the documents i put them in a folder and everything was very organised and well marked. very straight forward.

good luck everyone

Hi everyone, I've been a silent reader for sometime now and wanted to update my status as I've just received my RC today.

Application sent: February 20
COA: dated February 26
RC received: July 25 (dated July 6 for some reason - I guess this accounts for the delays in past few weeks)

As you can see it took exactly 5 months. I applied as unmarried partner of EEA national and included the usual documents (tenancy agreements, utility bills, employment records). I still have a ton of questions about EEA regulations (voting and tourism, for example) but will ask those under relevant topics.

I wish everyone the best of luck with applications - the wait is horrible and I've had to let go of a variety of opportunities in the meantime, but I'm sure you will all get there. There clearly was a delay in processing applications in recent weeks and I still wonder what has caused the HO to issue the RC but have it delivered (with registered mail, mind you) three weeks later.

in new form, supporting documents pages are removed, a blank list for "other documents" added instead.

It seems there have been some further changes...there is something called a decision letter apparently sent before the residence card is issued, and at NO point is there mention of how long it will take to be issued, or at least I did not find that.

No, I guess it will only be issued to those applying with these form that was introduced apparently on 20.7.

I am having a bit of a hard time keeping up I guess...I applied after 31.1, this is when the form went from 60 to 190 pages or something...but then if you applied before some day in april you dont have to do biometrics...now you do biometrics but the form was scaled down again.

I´m sure the HO has a thorough process when it comes to which stages to follow depending on the version of the application that was used.

ONE thing to consider though is, someone yesterday posted that their RC was delivered on 25.7 but was dated 6.7...maybe there are some others on the way that have their shipping delayed...I keep on looking at my tracking number and all I see is "PLEASE COME BACK LATER"

Ok.. Mate thanks for the info.

Yes I had same thoughts after looking at the guys timeline who received rc yesterday. I think it's still 4.5 months time span. Just the delay in posting the rc is making it 5 months. Might be its just people responsible for sending the post are on holidays . lol. I applied on 19th March..expecting it to be processed this week and posted to me after a month.haha

Hello bashyboy144, nice hear from you again. I used the 4/2015 form because I sent my application before they changed it last July 20. I've done my biometrics already, so I'm just waiting for my COA. How long did it take for your COA to arrive?
