Guys look don't worry too much
People who r getting refused with 22k or bit less or anything near by..... it's because they might have not given them enough proof of income
6months of payslips bank statements or payslips
Not matching with bank statements or letter from work confirming how
Much u earn Nd etc or p60 anything can be possible
But trust me guys if
U have submit everything Nd u r all clean with ur income Nd etc there is nothing to worry about u can always Appeal Nd get ur visa then..... but I know it takes few months again but we all have to be positive.....

And about savings.... it's good if you have any coz
Then it helps.... if u don't have any savings if doesn't matter untill u have more then 18600k and given all the papers Nd proof which is required by ho

I am on hold since march.... as the hold is off now just be positive Nd keep urself strong :)

What ? Really are they refusing for 22k as well ?? In my case it's more than 18600 but less than 22k ... with almost no savings ... what are the chances ??? Please advise
I'm in a similar situation as you. But I'm sorry I have no clue how they will give the decision .
This is seriously unfair
It is !!! But I guess 22k is for those where children are involved ... have you heard of someone getting refused having more than 18600 and no savings ??
I saw one of the member has posted that their application has been refused asking for more proof of income (more than22k)
But I think it's for people who's having children as you said.

Msg in march got refused .....
So doesn't really make any sense on which months application they working on or idk
But I just wanna stay positive after all this waiting
But I think case not straight forward people have to normally wait around 9 months or so :/ it's just what I think not like it's true...... but this is what I have notice around for this many months :/ but good news is atleast they r working on hold applications :/

Hi Sydvir,
My husband is a British PR holder. But I don't think that may not a reason for the delay.
And no I'm still waiting a call from the HO :|

Hi Guys,

I received today they approval letter. Quite a mess. I applied for a spouse visa 5 years route, and they switched to a 10 year route. They say I didn't provide an English test (which i did, Ielts) but anyway I am currently a MSc Student here in London. Anyway i should receive the BPR within 7 working days.

From all of these i realised that they never saw my application properly. Apparently they put me on hold because of the Supreme Court rule ( just found out because they wrote it on the top of the letter). We didn't have problem about the financial requirement but as soon as they saw that we had a baby just putted us on hold and that's it.

Wishing all the best for all of you,
This forum was really really helpful!

I have been following this and the last forum intently. I'd like to share my circumstances.

Previously married with a child who is British, UK based and settled. Paying maintenence for child. Family Court divorce attached in documents.
Remarried Pakistan

Working from August 2016. At time of submission. 6 months payslips and about £1k savings, all bank statements and docuemnts as required. Salary just above £19k

Married May 16 Pakistan. Return visit to Pakistan to see wife October 2016 for 2 weeks.

Submitted 14th March. Biometrics 16th March. Document's sent to sheffield 20th March. I submitted Priority application.

Went to Pakistan for family wedding for 3 weeks in April mentioned this is online application.

Received case not straightforward and on hold email on 27th April

Have phoned UKVI about 3 times and 2 emails as well with a generic response, contacted MP and they also got a generic response.

Online tracker now shows Awaiting Decision from 25th May 2017. I used the digits after VAF number.

That's my update so I thought I'd let u guys know

Hi Usman,
I have noticed people who are re-married (second or third or whatever the number) and if the ex-wife is having a PR/ILR/Citizen then HO is deeply investigating. As you might know there was abuse or misuse of UK marriages. 7-8 years back there were fake marriages for obtaining British citizenship. After that scam HO looking careful of second marriages.

Secondly you claimed 19000 which might they consider as onhold category. Hope you have submitted p60 and other employer letter along with payslips and bank stmts.

Hi ak80
Then we can't even imagine why we are on hold..and how does your sponsor fulfill the financial requirements?
Savings? Employment?
Does he doing two jobs??
Most of the people who are doing two jobs in order to fulfill the financial requirements getting the case is not straightforward email.. it's my opinion

Hi Sydvir,
My husband earns more than £18600 per year from his employment and I have showed my savings from work too
He's doing only one job.

Don't know why they say that my case is not straightforward.
But I didn't recieve a hold email. Just "not straightforward email."
