Hi Friends....

I want to send the review request for the refusal.....

Below mentioned is the format of the revirew request letter i am thinking to write to HSMP Team,... should there and changes be done or not....i need advice from senior members and friends here...... PLEASE!!!!!

Letter to HSMP Team
Respected HSMP team,

My name is xxxx and I had applied for HSMP in July, 2006. My reference number is 08xxx. Recently I received a refusal letter with the causes for refusal of my application. The application details are follows:
Application against the qualifying criteria – Under 28.
Scoring Area Points Claimed Points Awarded
Academic Achievement 15 15
Work Experience 35 00
Earning Criteria 25 25
Age Allowance 05 05
Skilled Partner 10 00
TOTAL 90 45

I claimed 35 points in Work Experience section, but 0 points were awarded, as the evidences I provided were not enough for you. Here I will explain in detail why I do not agree with the decision taken by the HSMP Team. Below mentioned are the reasons for which I think that the decision is incorrect.
1. The qualifying criteria of my application is UNDER 28, as per HSMP Guidelines I need Four years of full time graduate level work experience to claim 35 points, but in the reason given for not awarding points for work experience you have stated that you were not able to find sufficient evidence to demonstrate previous work experience involved 5 years graduate level work. I do agree that you were not able to find the evidences to prove the work experience for 5 years, as my application was of UNDER 28 and it requires only 4 years of graduate level work experience and all the supporting documents i.e. Appointment letter and Work Experience Certificate were attached, which clearly supports to my claim of 4 years of graduate level of work experience.
2. As per the HSMP guidelines which states that graduate level work experience would be normally be a role within a company or institution that would require to have minimum education standard of a UK degree of equivalent, in the work experience certificate provided with the application it is clearly stated that I am an fulltime employee of the company working at the permanent post of Senior Executive – Accounts, which is a graduate level post.
3. All the duties and responsibilities which are performed by me in my company are clearly stated in the appointment letter and in the Work Experience Certificate provided with the application. I am very much confident that the work which I am performing in my company can not be done by non-graduate and it is also clearly stated in the work experience certificate that the post which I hold is of graduate level. Duding my graduate degree education I have studied subjects like Advanced accounting, Auditing, Banking management, Business administration and Commercial accounting, Costing, Statistics etc. as part of curriculum for degree education (kindly refer to mark sheets of all 3 years of graduation) and I am currently using the same knowledge to perform job responsibilities and duties which are clearly mentioned in my work experience certificate like maintaining accounts, computation and preparation of financial statements and other statistical data, projecting revenues and expenditures, determination of funds requirements, preparation of budgets, banking management, payroll management, analysis of operational costs and deviations forecasting maintaining records for VAT, TDS and other statutory requirements. And again for your reference I am enclosing the same work experience certificate and letter of appointment which I had already provided along with the original application. (please kindly note that I am not sending any new evidences which are not there in the previous application)
4. My work experience certificate also confirms my active participation in many of the key decision and policy formation of the company, now at this point it is obvious that only graduate degree holders are only involved in the process of any company.
5. I kindly request you to once again go through the evidences and please consider my application carefully. I am sure that it is impossible to work as senior accounting executive without having a graduate degree. So I request you to treat my work experience as graduate level work experience and kindly award me the point for the same. There is a genuine request you to kindly take this matter seriously as this is the question of my life time carrier.


I have also visited website of many recruitment agencies from the UK and found that they also don’t provide jobs without at least having graduate degree for same roles and duties as performed by me in my company. I strongly believe that the decision take by the HSMP team is incorrect and unfair.

From all the above explanations I am sure that my four years of work experience should be treated as graduate level work experience and should be awarded points for that. I hope that from the above explanations you will also be convinced that the duties performed by me are of graduate level so the work experience I am having is also of graduate level work experience. I hereby kindly request your to reconsider your decision made on my application.

Secondly, I had also claimed 10 points in Skilled Partner Section, but 0 points were awarded, as the evidences I provided were not enough for you. Here I will explain in detail why I do not agree with the decision taken by the HSMP Team.
I hereby kindly request your to review you decision made on my application. I strongly believe that the decision take by the HSMP team is incorrect and unfair. Below mentioned are the reasons for which I think that the decision is incorrect.
1. In the reasons for refusals you have stated that you were not able to find the sufficient evidences and at least three pieces of evidences are needed and for married couples, certificate of marriage is required.
2. I had already provided my original marriage certificate. In the reason it is mentioned that married couples should supply their marriage certificate as one piece of evidence. Then I am not able to understand that why my marriage certificate is not considered as one piece of evidence among the three.
3. Regarding other evidences provided by me:
a. I have supplied joint UTI Bank account statement which is addressed to both of us; it was treated by you as the letter from the bank. But originally it is a statement of my joint account addressed to both of us and it is clearly written on it.
b. Regarding the policies from National Insurance Company and Life Insurance Corporation of India, being a joint policy it is addressed to my spouse as he is the first holder. But names of both of us are clearly mentioned on it which already proves joint stay. Joint Life and Medical insurance policies are only given if all the members of the policy are having joint stay. In my case I and my spouse are having the joint medical and life insurance policies and name of both of us is written on it.
c. I have also submitted a certificate from our housing society stating our joint stay. It is clearly mentioned in the certificate that we both share a common accommodation along with my father-in-law who is the owner of the property. And you can contact the authorities of our housing society to confirm the same. The content of the letter itself proves our joint stay.

Thus I have submitted five pieces of evidences to prove our joint stay. I am sending all the five evidences again for your reference.

Lastly, I once again request you to consider my application positively and kindly award points which I had claimed for work experience section and skilled partner section. Please kindly note this is the question of my lifetime carrier. So please kindly consider my review application carefully and do needful.

CAN ANY ONE(MODERATORS/MEMBERS/STATUS GURUS/SPECIALISTS)PLZ HELP ME IN THIS REGARD

I HAVE ONE DOUBT REGARDING MY EXPERIENCE
1) WHEN I WAS DOING MY MS IN TELECOMM ENGG IN AUSTRALIA MELBOURNE AS A STUDENT I WORKED AS A TECHNICAL SALES REPRESENTATIVE WHICH CLEARLY SPECIFIES THAT IT REQUIRES GRADUATE LEVEL AND DURING THAT PERIOD I WILL BE RESTRICTED TO ONLY 20Hrs WHICH ALL U KNOW AND IT IS PARTIME JOB. WILL THIS EXPERIENCE WHICH I HAVE DONE FOR ONE YEAR WILL BE CONSIDERED AS AN EXPERIENCE BY HSMP TEAM.

PLZ KINDLY HELP ME IN THIS REGARD
