Could Postal visa application go on fast track- Urgent

I have applied my Visa extension (Tier-2 ICT) by post around 10 days back and unfortunately I got to know that my mother is serious back home. However my brother is taking care of her but want to know..
1. Is it anyway possible that now my application could take fast track, will get Visa and go home.
2. If I withdraw my applicatiom to get my passport, Is it possible that I can re-apply for extension after validity of my Visa ?

Any other way where I can go on any emergency call to my home and can apply again for extension. Please help me, it vey urgent for me to take any call now.. don't have ever 1-2 day to wait on this.
