Hi Guys,

I am closer to T1 extension, I can not complete my salary points. I asked my employer to increase my salary but they can not but they give me offer they can apply my T2.
Can anybody please guide what would be implications? Last time i showed my salary from two sources employed and self employed but i could not make income through self employed this time.
Please guide me about swtiching from T1 to T2, what do i need to ask to my employer to prepare documents?

Are you asking having read the guidance and are seeking clarification or are you asking instead of reading the guidance?

Thanks for your reply. When i applied 1st time, i had my income from two sources. Now my salay is bit less that's why i am thinking to switch to T2.
I requested my employer to increase salary but they said they cant, they can apply for my T2.
I am having many concern moving on T2, either i can easily move my employment or have to stuck with this employer for three?
When i will move to T2, will i be qualify for ILR?

Gmopla,

Have you actually read any information from the Home Office website?

It seems you want people to answer all your queries without doing some actual research as well.

To answer your query, if you switch to Tier 2 with employer X and you want to change jobs to work with employer Y, employer Y would have to apply for a visa on your behalf. Tier 2 does not give you the flexibility that Tier 1 does.

In addition, if you are falling short of earnings, I don't see why you do not take up another part time job to meet the earnings threshold.

Ultimately, the choice is yours, but I have just given my honest opinion.

Kind Regards
