UKBA advised us today there is a large backlog of #visaapplications..processing times and return of documents will be delayed #ukimmigration

UKBA clarified with us that backlog linked to recent closure of Tier 1 Post Study Work category..will keep clients updated #ukimmigration

Yes, but wasn't this situation rather obvious and predictable. There is always a stampede of applicants when a category is closing and the processing times can't go unaffected by this.
