Question in Tier 1 extension

Post by rpsarangi » Sun Apr 22, 2012 11:33 am

Hi all
I know I may be asking a silly question but after going through a post I am a bit scared so asking this .
1. Can a employer fire you from work when your visa application is getting considered and the remain to leave is expired or expiring soon..?
2. Is there any limit on sole trader earnings ?

Thanks all in advance .

You need to elaborate on the possible reason for being fired. Having a pending application is not like a kind of diplomatic immunity from situations where dismissal may be necessary. There is no limit on earnings; it's called Capitalism.

1) just applying to extend your current leave cannot be the only reason for firing, educate the employer that you have right to work until your application is decided

2) no limit

I am just asking the question as I read a post in this forum that have happened to somebody ..
1. So even if the remain to leave have expired while your application is considered for decision you have legal right to work and employer cannot fire you from work . Is that right what I understood .
2. And there is no limit to self employment earning even if you operate as a sole trader ,

Is that right ?
Thanks for quick reply .
Thanks
