TIER 1 Extension - My Case - Need Help !!

Hi All,

I am planning for TIER 1 Extension application immediately, so I am seeking your guidance on my case. Please help !!

Initial Application Date = 17-July 2010
Date Of Birth = 05-July-1982
Age at the time of application = 28 Years

For age points, UKBA site it says
"Enter your age at the date of your application for your first permission to stay as a Tier 1 (General) migrant"
I should be using 28 Years -- which gives me 20 points.
[Please advise correct or wrong].

For Earning Big Confusion now.

I was in India working for the same company since January 2011 till July 2011. I was then transferred permanently to UK (within the same company). In this case my query is:

1. Of my 12 Month period of earning - 3 months come from India i.e. May, June & July. As I was earning in India:
Should an upliftment factor be applied here or a plain conversion will work ?

i.e. 80K per month Indian Sal would be GBP 1000 X 5.3 = GBP 5300.

Please let me know ?

For Experience - I am in UK working since Aug 2011 till application i.e. say 1st June 2012 - which equals 10 Months. Before that I have worked in UK for 1 years since Jan 2010 till Dec 2010. Had to go back to India for employment continuation & transfer purposes.

Can this 10 Months & GBP 16K as earning be enough to get me experience points

Also I have 2 dependants to apply for (Wife and Baby). What would be the total maintenance fund I need to show ?

I am guessing it would - 1600 + 1600 + 800 = GBP 4K

Appreciate your help over this ... I am seeking for help from the Admin, Mods, Senior Members & everyone who wish to help me on this forum !!

You are on the group B.So ,20 point for age 28[/quote]

You cannot apply the uplift ratio to any overseas earning for T1 extension.

As I am applying for the TIER 1 extension as a Tier 1 (General) Migrant under the Rules in place before 6 April 2010, and has not been granted leave in any categories other than these since 6 April 2010 ...
I will need 95 points - right ?

1. Age - 20 pts
2. Qualification - 30 pts [B.E]
3. Earnings - 30 pts [50 to 55 K]
4. UK Experiance - 5 pts
5. English Language - 10 pts [proven in last application]
6. Maintenance - 10 pts

Total = 105 pts
