Hi
As the Home Office gets ever more stringent on the proof that it seeks in respect of claimed points, the usual references given by even 'kind' employers seems often falls short of what the Home Office requires. Add to that the fact that many employers in the UK who have staff on work permits seem to want to keep the power over the individual that a work permit gives the employer, and are hostile to HSMP applications, people sometimes need to change employers in order to get the documentation you need to support the HSMP application.
At [Advertising deleted by Moderator] we are used to helping people on the path to a successful HSMP application. If you are in the UK on a work permit with an unhelpful company, if you have an IT contract, we can introduce you to employers who will employ you on a work permit and be fully supportive in terms of later proof of earnings (actually all UK employers have a legal obligation to provide payslips, but not all do) and references to validate the skills you have used etc. Also, in most cases, the cost of workpermit.com's fees to represent the HSMP application can be paid as a tax-free expense.
In conclusion: If your employer is not supportive, change employer!
