Biometric residence permits-Tier general

Hi Guy

I am a self employed and living in UK under tier1 general visa and it will be expired January 20th,2013(valid 20/01/2010-20/01/2013).Let me know,do i need to take Biometric residence permit?

UKBA will take any action if i stay 40days on my home country

You will get your BRP card when you apply for the next extension - you dont need to/cant apply for them separately.

There is no law re how many days you can stay outside UK but it might pose a problem when you go for ILR.
