UKBA Complaints page & application tracking

Post by timesofindia » Wed Apr 25, 2012 1:16 pm

Just noticed that UKBA has amended the Complaints user interface so probably the complaints email address is now deleted.

Also another thing to note is:
There is a option called "I want an update on the progress of an application" which probably pertains to anyone who wants an update on the progress of application.

And I get an error when I try an update on my application.

Gateway Timeout
The proxy server did not receive a timely response from the upstream server.

Not so useful I guess! See below for the message you get when you want an update on your application.

Information about an application's progress

If you have made an application to the UK Border Agency and you want an update on its progress, you can make an enquiry at one of our contact centres - but you cannot ask for an update until a certain time has passed since you made your application. For more information, see the Enquiries page.

Immigration decisions can be complex, and in many cases we need to carry out detailed investigations before making a decision. This may take some time.

Yes, :(

I had high hopes of some sort of online application tracking system where someone can see what stage their application is !!!
