HSMP Advise Needed

Hi

My cousin is planning to apply under the HSMP scheme some time in Feb
next year. He is currently working abroad for a firm and lately, he has come to know that his employers are closing down their business in Nov.

In terms of proving about his salary, I understand that he must show the relevant salary 12 months prior to his application being made. His 12 months salary will fall exactly in Nov this year in terms of his earned wage which will enable him to apply in addition to the other requirements.

Since he is going to apply in Feb next year and his employers are closing down in Nov this year, will there be a problem because he will not have any payslips for the month of Dec & Jan?

Any advice would be great and if anyone has applied under the similar circumstances above are welcome to post their opinions.
