ILR for dependants: Children over 18 years (URGENT)

Post by grattan » Wed May 09, 2012 7:23 pm

Hello All,

I am re-posting my query as there was no response earlier.

Please advise on below:

I am applying for ILR on same day premium service on May 12.

Other than my wife I have two kids over 18 yrs who came with me to UK in 2007 and have been studying here at school and now in University.

I have prepared three application forms (SET O), one for my wife n self and one each for son and daughter.

Initially I booked online for self + 3 dependents. But after reading few threads on this forum it appears that I have to book three different appointments on same day. Is this correct??

Someone kindly advise.

Many thanks
Goldy

Hi Zeeshan,

Many thanks for your reply. I have just managed to get 3 appointments on same day; could get same time for self and son but for my daughter 20 mins earlier. But hope they will understand and sort it out.

Another quick one:

Although my son is a student in University, he works part time on weekends. He is financially dependent on me though. I guess I will have to mention this in his application since I will also submit his bank statement that shows income from his job.

Hope this will not cause issues with his financial dependence, as it is only about 500 GBP per month of earnings. I will be submitting a letter to certify his dependance on me.

Many thanks in advance,
Goldy

I am on Tier 2 sponsored visa and basis 5 years stay am going to apply for ILR along with my Son who is 20 years old. He is fully dependant on me and studying full time in University here. He also holds Tier 2 dependant visa.

Now my son works part time (as allowed by law). In form Set (O), I would like to know if I have to declare his working status, monthly wages and other details like SOC code etc...! I guess I must but need some confirmation.

Any guidance will be much appreciated, as I am going for same day Premium service end of this month.

Best regards,
Goldy
