Date of application plz help

Hi,

I am planning to extend my tier 1 general migrant visa.
I applied for the initial visa on 12th April 2010 and my visa started from 2nd June 2010.
So when i apply for my extension now, the date of application of my initial visa would be 12th april 2010, not 2nd June 2010, am I correct?

I have read this before in this forum, but only today I had one agency person telling me very confidently that in my case the date of initial application is 2nd June2010, so rules of that period applies in my case, according to which I should score 90 points in attributes which I am not having.

What I am thinking is the rules applicable to me are those at the time of 12th april 2010, according to which I need to score only 75 points in attributes.

Someone please confirm.
