Reg: ILR for WP holders

Hi,

I came to UK as a WorkPermit Holder in 2008 and than it got changed to Tier2 ICT as per the rule chnage, which is again extended until 2013. I would like to get ILR in 2013 but have few queries below, I would be grateful if experts can help me out with this:

1. Will I be eligible for ILR in-case I need to resign my current job and get dependent visa on my spouse's Tier2 visa.
2. Or will be eligible for ILR if become dependent on my spouse's Tier2 visa for few months(~6 months) and later get Tier2 visa for myself.

Changing to dependant status resets your WP / PBS ILR clock.

The answer to both of your questions is no because you can only apply for a PBS Dependant visa from abroad and that would break continuous residence.

Can you please let me know if changing from Tier2 ICT to Tier2 general will reset the ILR clock?

To answer your question, not necessarily. It depends on when were you issued Tier 2 (ICT) leave (245HF(x)).
