Judicial review expenses

Post by tier-1 » Mon May 14, 2012 7:03 pm

Hello Friends,

I had lodged a complaint with UKBA but am not satisfied with the response of either the UKBA or the ombudsman on it and want to take for judicial review.

Can you please tell me what is the maximum that I could end-up paying if I were to lose the case in judicial review.

Is there a cap on the expenses that the defendant (UKBA) is allowed to claim?

Thanks for your inputs.

Thanks
Nishant.

See judicial review

on what grounds are you thinking of applying?

It is advisable that you seek advice from a solicitor on the merits of making such an application as they can be very costly.

Costly indeed.
