Can i apply for baby later?

Post by wazee89 » Tue May 15, 2012 12:06 am

can i apply for my baby after my application decision (want to save money)?
is it mandatory for a child to apply for a passport and get a dependent visa even if he is not travelling?

Thx

thx vinny.
i have read both posts u directed me to.

What i have understood (plz correct me if i am wrong) is i can defer my baby application until my ILR in 2015 if i dont intend to travel.

However, if someone already got a visa to remain in uk for their babies then it can be risky not to renew it.

To be honest, cost is the main factor.

I ll apply for my baby's first visa when i ll have some savings plus if hey refuse my application, at least i am saving 750£.

Importantly, if not travelling, then baby will be entitled to register immediately after a parent is granted ILR. Baby may skip ILR.

it means if i dont include my baby (born in april 2012) into my extension application in january 2012, there won't be a problem.

Guess your dates need correction. You can't include someone who is not born yet.
