As soon as you land in london with HSMP visa, Is it posible to get a mobile phone No. ? If yes how to get it ? What are the charges ? This will be a great help for those looking for job, after landing in UK.

The easiest route is to buy a "pay as you go " (pre-paid) mobile phone. Getting a billed phone is not that easy to get on arrival as credit history is required.

I'd recommend Carphone Warehouse (all over London or online) I got a Vodaphone pay as you go phone for £40 and the clerk was very helpful.
