Tier 1 (General) Visa Exten. Ltd company Timelines QUery

Post by sumitt » Thu May 17, 2012 11:49 pm

HI Guys,

I applied for Tier 1 (General) visa extension on 9th March 2012, I got acknolwodgement on 25th March 2012 and got Finger print invitation letter on 12th April. After that i have no communication , whatsoever, from UKBA. so i am not sure what is happening or am i missing something? I would like to mention that i applied with LTD company structure.
I have few queries:

How much more time should i expect the visa process to take?

When i should expect my documents to come back. (before or after visa decision)

Is Ltd company strucutre going to impact timelines ?

Most importantly:
Can I check my application status any where ( without impacting visa process)?

Thanks in advance for help
Regards
Sumit

After the Biometric letter have you provided Biometrics at a post office?

Could take upto 6 weeks from the date you submitted biometrics

When i should expect my documents to come back. (before or after visa decision)

Once visa gets approved. Again this could take upto 6 weeks

No. But it depends on what documents have you provided for proof.

Most importantly:
Can I check my application status any where ( without impacting visa process)?

There is no such option

Thanks QuickSam,

I did provide my ( and my dependents) Biometrics at post office. as i thought perhaps it is faster than taking appointment and going to visa office. Does this impact time lines.

Sumit
