Change of employment - Work permit holder

Post by ranjanams » Fri Sep 29, 2006 7:04 pm

Hi,

I am work permit holder and arrived in UK September 2004 as a Staff Nurse working for NHS. In April 2006 I changed my employer and my new NHS has applied for change of employment. They have sent me the photopcopy of the aprroval letter. And I got the FLR valid untill July 2011. I received my passports back from Home Office with the letter with all the details which normally mentioned on the work permit.
I would like to ask that whether Home office issues fresh work permit like I received for my previous NHS or it mentions details on the letter accompanying passports with FLR stamps on it. Or Home office sends the work permit to employer.

Regards,
Ranjanams

What you've got is correct.

Unlike new application, for change of employment, they just issue an approval letter and sends it to new employer.
