i dont know what happened to my last post maybe mods can explain

when u get the call letter what u put for intention for travel dates and length of stay

my wife got her spouse visa and we need to submit passsport

it also says they need a TB certificate, how old can that be, can we use the original one its from March 2011

also it says they want a passport copy of sponsor, so do i need to send in a copy of my passport?

U need to submit a valid tb certificate not an expired one along with her passport. She'd need to take her nadra ID with her too, I am not sure if copy of your passport is needed or not maybe some one els can confirm.
Btw when was she granted visa

Tb certificate is usuaully valid for 6months from the day of the test, the expiry date is aon the certificate.

You put down " As soon as visa is issued". She then has 3 months from that date to fly into UK which will assist her next part of application..... the ILR in 2yrs time

you do need to send sponser passport copy.you need to provide everything they havr asked in call in letter and new tb test which can be done on same day.

can you or someone else who knows please tell me where and how we can do the TB test so we can get results ASAP, cus thats 3 weeks away and we have the call just need to get TB certificate, is there a fast track process for the test?

Hi yeah we got a test date for wednesday, thats tommorow so we will submit the call letter on thursday cus my wife was say gerrys close at 2pm in islamabad

how long is it after you submit ur call letter at gerrys do u get ur passport with stamp on it? does it take long? cus i am looking into getting tickets now

i can now see this entire process coming to a end alham after a very long time due to no fault of my own

thats great this process has finally ended for u:)
it can take a few weeks for the passport to be stamped but sayin that recentycouple of member:s from here had their passport returned with in 10 days. so u cant b 100% like with any other thn:/

i advice you to wait for your wife's passport to come back dont rush to book flight yet.inshallah her passport will be stamped but just wait for it.
well she can start shopping mean while lol.

Hi

My husband submitted his passport on the 25th April 2012 after our appeal was allowed and had received our call letter. Its been over a month and still 'under process'..does it normally take this long? i was told that it would only take a couple of weeks. I have emailed them, but all they say is that 'its under process.

please help...is there any other number/email i can contact?

email the embassy quoting ur reference number/appeal no to remind them that they have ur passports....

this might help as i kept emailing them as well....fortunately, i was called to appear at embassy to get my pp stamped same day...

We applied from islamabad. Its really worrying me, as to why its taking this long. When i phoned phone gerrys call centre they told me, theres no time limit.

It seems unfair that:
a) we had to wait for this long just to get the passport stamped
B) they cant provide any time frame.

Any advise will be much appreciated.

I got a email today from embassy that visa is processed and my wife got a call from Gerry saying to come pick up ur passport

my wife is going to Islamabad to pick them, inshallah hope all is stamped and then i can book her tickets

many congratulations obvioulsy her visa will be stamped thats what they asked the passport for

i know thanks lucy and syma and my wife picked up the passport and sure enough it was stamped

after what we have been through it was just so unreal, 16 months the process took and for what? just because they made a mistake!!!

but all is well if it ends well, so my wife has booked PIA tickets today and is coming next friday, i am going to pick her up from the airport, i am so excited i can barely contain myself

alham praise and glory be to Allah swt who has been very kind and given us patience, we can finally now get on with our lives
