Can a Tier 1 PSW holder work in a permanent job type

Hi,

Can a Tier 1 PSW holder take a permanent job?

My employer said they have to change my contract soon as I can't work in a full time permanent role because my visa is Tier 1 PSW. Is that right?

They want to change my contract as a 'contract worker'and once they get Tier 2 they may change my job type. But there is something prevent my employer to register in UKBA for my tier 2 but they promised me a Tier 2 visa before joining the company.

If anybody has a link from UKBA that I can work in a ful time permanent role please send me ASAP.

Yes Tier 1 (PSW) can take a Permanent job. One of my friend is working like this.

Your BRP states your work conditions, which does not include being restricted to temporary contracts.

if your employer is unsure, they should call the employer's helpline

your employer is mistaken. They need to call the helpline.
