Filling form for Tier-1 dependent visa - From outside UK

Hi all,

I need to apply for my wife's dependent visa from India in first week of July.

After searching long and hard, i figured that there was no latest sticky/thread with the latest visa processing guidelines, supporting documents and, if possible, a dummy form filled with all important details. The only one i could find was http://www.immigrationboards.com/viewtopic.php?t=62853 which is around an year old.

Would it be ok with moderators to add all details that someone will need for a tier-1 general dependent visa into this thread and help people (like me) with the whole application process.

Policy guidelines, a list of supporting documents and a dummy form will be most useful.

Most of the contents in that guidance thread is up-to-date. The moderators keep on updating the post as and whenever necessary. The links point to the current requirements for a dependent application. If you have specific queries, then please feel free to post your questions and someone will respond.
