FLR(M) for my wife from India

Hello Guys,

lemme explain my situation first. I have applied for ILR at PEO in UK but my application was sent for further checks. I need to apply FLR(M) for my wife (less than 2 years in UK ..1year 10 months to be precise) once i get my ILR. Her visa expires on 12 th June. I don't think i will get my visa by then. i am wondering whether she can apply from India as she has plans to travel to India. please reply guys...

if she applies from India , does the time she spent in UK (1 year and 10 months) will be counted when she again apply for settlement?

please can some one explain how it works...thanks a lot guys..
