HSMP Extension- Certificates submission- Copies or Original?

HSMP FLR - When submitting Marriage Certificate, Birth Certificate etc., for dependents, should we submit them as originals or photocopies?
While applying for HSMP, we have any way submitted them as originals, so would the home office require these documents as originals during extension also? If submitted as originals, would home office return them?

It is advisable to send Original documents. All the documents will be sent back safely, rest assured. Keep a copy of them for safeside.
