HSMP Extension - Economic Activity

Post by Ashwin2005 » Sun Oct 08, 2006 7:35 pm

(1) For applying for HSMP Extension, is National Insurance (NI) letter required? I could not go to the Job center office and arrange for interview, I got a temporary number allocated by Tax authorities, and my taxes are deducted at source by the employer at source. Is this temporary number enough for extension purposes?

(2) Being my first year, I do not have any tax payment receipt yet, as one financial year has not completed yet. So, how can I show my tax receipts, is it must while applying for extension? Would it not be enough to show pay slips which will show tax deduction at source?

(3) Are the following documents are enough to show economic activity:

- Temporary Employment Agreement (Online Printout)
- Pay slips (Online Printouts)
- Bank Statements showing credit of salary (Online Printouts, I Can also obtain a signed statement from the Bank listing salary credits)
- Letter from Bank stating my savings balance (For proving that I have enough funds to sustain without recourse to public funds)
