Travelling as PBS dependant when PBS migrant has ILR

Post by humzah123 » Fri Jun 15, 2012 4:59 pm

Hi

I am currently on PBS dependent visa. My husband had Tier 1 General when I became his dependent. He got ILR in Jan 2012 and we did not know that I need to apply for FLR(M).

I have to go to my home country due to family emergency and want to find out that do I need to apply for family dependent visa of settled person from my home country before I gain entry back in UK or as per new proposed changes in effect from 9 July I no longer need to obtain family dependent visa from my home country before entering in UK?

I am asking this question as there will be no requirement to apply for FLR(M) for PBS dependents.

Can anyone please help.

thanks

Only applicable in certain specific circumstances.

Under current rules, you may be denied entry under 321A(1). No changes to these rules (section 9) have been announced / published.
