FLR(M) or ILR for my wife

Post by BACK_TO_GB » Thu Jun 21, 2012 1:18 pm

Hello,

I thought I understood this but after reading more posts, i find myself confused with the Post July changes...

I am due to apply for my ILR in August (having spent 5 years - 28 days) by then in the Tier 1 (General) Visa...
My wife applied for a out of country Dependant Visa and was Granted it in April 2012... ENtered the country as my dependant in June (this month)... so far only spent about a month living together (not 2 years) !

Question: Under the new post July changes, should:

A) I apply for my ILR and after getting it she applies for a 2 year extension FLR(M).. OR
B) we both apply for ILR in August? (I would have completed 2 years & she would have completed 3 month Only)

Many thanks...
