The processing times suggest they are still assessed in country, but given the situation this may not be the case

The applications are processed in Cairo, but they can be notoriously slow. I know of a case recently where it took 20 days for the application to get from Worldbridge to the embassy!

e.t.a In the case I mentioned above, the visa was eventually granted. It took 73 days total.

Thanks for that info heard they are slow. Mine took 4 days to get there so not too bad compared to that then

No of course it doesn't matter just concerned apparently alot of Egyptians get refused visas so was curious about where the decision was made.
