English Language Requirement of Spouse Visa---Confused help

Post by Seena » Sat Jun 23, 2012 5:47 pm

Hi All,

We got married about three months ago but didn't applied for my spouse visa yet. I am non EU and my husband is British. I have completed my MBA (Masters in Business Administration) in 2010 from the university of Portsmouth UK. But the FLR(M) guide form states that :

"Master’s degrees and PhDs will not be accepted as evidence. This is because UK NARIC is only able to assess whether a Bachelor’s degree (and not a Master’s degree or PhD) was taught in English".

Does it mean i have to pass the English test to get my spouse visa ? or

Does it mean my Masters degree is not accepted a proof of acceptable level of English ? or

Does it means some thing else ? I am very concerned about this, i would very much appreciate your quick reply.

You could see the explanation on below link on page 6.

Link to the FLR(M) guide form is:

Guys please help me out of this confusion .

Thanks in advance
