PEO June 22 Success Croydon. 289 Days out of UK

Post by chosenaik » Mon Jun 25, 2012 8:52 am

WP + Tier 2 + Tier 1. 5 year since 2007. I was applying ILR only for myself.

Appointment was at 9:00 am. I was allowed in when i arived whichwas at 8:30 am.

My documents were checked on the ground floor where they took the payment.

I then had to go to the above 2 floors for Bio Metric and review of documents.

I waited in the UKBA office the whole time sitting cleraly visible to the case workere.

The case workere signalled me to come collect the documents at approx. 11:15 am. The ILR had been granted.

I had 268 dasy out of the UK, and in my covering letter I had clearly stated how many business days + how many paid annual leave and that if you also exclude weekends / public holdiays I actaully had spent only 68 days outside UK.

No questions were asked of me at all from the case worker and the only 2 times he spoke to me was when he collected my documents and when he told me to wait 5 - 10 days befopre my Biometrioc comes through.

In my cover letter I separated Business Travel, Annual paid Holidays, Weekends and Public Holidays. I showed that if you discount these, only 68 days are left. The case worker didnt say anything to me at all during his entire review however I am guessing that he was happy with my explanation as he didnt question the fact that I had more than 180 days outside UK.
