ILR for Parents

Hi there

I have applied for my mother’s indefinite leave to remain the UK as an elderly dependent relative. Does anybody know how long UKBA is taking on applications like these. I know the website says up to six months but are they actually taking this much time.

We applied 5 months and have not heard anything from UKBA yet. If UKBA is holding on to the application longer, is it an indication that the application will be successful.

Any advise/comments will be highly appreciated.

Kind regards

They do not "hold" the application. There is a que of applications, plus depends on work streams and work load in UKBA. What you mention as "holding" for 5 months is not an indication of a possible positive or negative outcome.
