Prioritising application via a solicitor

Post by daYZman » Wed Jul 04, 2012 12:12 pm

Hi all,

I can't find any available date for face-to-face appointment, but I need to have my application processed within 1 month's time as my job starts in a month. I called up a solicitor (found online) and they referred me to "Kings Court Chambers". They said the service costs around £600 and they'll utilise contacts to speed up the application, but no guarantee.

Does it sound like a legitimate service? Should I go for it? If not, are there other ways to prioritise my application?

Thanks for your time.

some legal representatives have special access to the premium service. See:

Kings Court Chambers are barristers' chambers in Birmingham. Ring them to ask:

That's something I don't quite understand. Even without a legal representative, one could still go for same-day, which they call 'Premium service' http://www.ukba.homeoffice.gov.uk/about ... ginperson/. So how is "Legal representatives' same day service" different? Do legal reps have access to a different pool of slots?

Thanks

Quite likely.
FYI - there is also a super premium service when UKBA come to your address - costs £6k + the normal application fees.

Yes. They have special quota of bookings. So they are not same as general public. They can get slots which general public don't have access too.
