TIER 1 Depedent Visa Form VAF10 Qurey ( From India)

Hi

I am trying to fill in VAF10 form for my newborn baby born in India. I believe the form hasnt changed after 9th July 2012.

My question is:

1) what options do we have to select from the type of visa. I am currently on Tier 1 visa. We have to submit the online form from the VFS website. The options are Exempt, Other, Settlement,Study, Transit, Visit, work. I believe I have to select Settlement??? Is that correct?

Can you please check if the following details are also correct:

Type of Visa: Settlement
Purpose of application: Settlement
Type of application: Child or Other Dependant Settled Person

2) When will the main applicant’s job begin? When is the job or course of study expected to finish? - I dont know what to answer for this question?

3) I am also attaching the following documents:

* 2 White background photographs of proper size
* Original Passport of Baby
* Birth Certificate copy of Baby
* Photocopy of my and my wife's passport - front, last and visa page ( I believe we dont need to give copy of old passport even though they had old visa)
* Bank Statement of NATWEST - Also attaching 1st june -20 june bank statement on bank's normal paper which has blank and white logo of Natwest along with stamp and date)
* Joint Utility bill

Hi,
1. Select work then tier1 then child.
2. Enter your job start date and end date you can mention your visa expiry date.
3. For photograph they will help you at VAC CENTRE.
i did the same when i applied for my child.

Many thanks for your reply. Are you sure that we select Tier 1 WORK for the dependent visa of Child.

I was under the impression that we have to select settlement...

can you please confirm that you have recently apply for your child visa..

just one question, do you need to get TB test certificate while applying for dependent visa for an infant (2 months old).

no TB certificate is required for infants
