Documentation for tier 2 dependent visa

Post by orthodoc » Fri Jul 13, 2012 10:07 am

I would be grateful if someone can advise me with tier 2 dependent application. I have already read the ukba guidance and old posts on the forum. I am based in London and my wife has to make an application for herself and our daughter in India. My understanding is that following docs should suffice.
1. Certified copies of my passport
2. I have a joint account with my wife in India which can be used to show the maintainence funds
3. Marriage certificate in english
4. My daughter's birth certificate
5. Passports of my wife and daughter.
And please also clarify on what does ukba mean by "certified" copies. Can I get it done by any solicitor here in London? How much do they normally charge for it?
Thank you
