10 years long stay for ILR

Hi All. Pls I plan to extend my Tier 1 General visa in 8months time i.e 2013. In the past, I've had 4years Student visa, 2years PSW visa, 2years Tier 1 General visa (due in 2013).This means I'd have spent 8yrs legally in the UK by 2013. I expect to get a 3yrs Tier 1 General visa when I apply for an extension next year till 2016.

Question:
Can I apply for ILR in 2015 for the 10years long stay route(provided it's an option) instead of waiting till 2016 when I might have completed 5yrs on Tier 1 General? Thanks in advance.

Yes, you can apply for ILR in 10 years long residence category in 2015.

FYI... as of now there is no option to apply personally in PEO for 10 years route. You may have to apply for post.
