BC Child with ILR parents - Indian visa details

Need to go to India on a short trip.

Cant get OCI for child as we are not BC'ed yet.

Should i get a visitor visa for my child to go to India?

Can someone point me to the right direction for :

* Visa category
* Documents required
* Apply in person/post/online
* Time taken to process

Someone from my office applied and it took 3 days for a visitor's visa to get approved. They did however have to spend half a day standing in various lines to get the forms submitted though.

Hi,
can someone please confirm that the photo requirements for Indian Entry visa is same as that of OCI ?

Both are 2*2 inches (50mm*50mm) ?

One of my friend told me that it is diffeent for both of them..
