Bank statement for Tier 1 Dependant during extension

Hi guys,

I will be applying for Tier extension along with a dependant
We both are maintaining finds in my account.
Do I need to submit a separate copy of bank statements for the dependant application as evidence for maintenance?

We both are applying at same time...and I guess the address for posting is same and we will be posting via a single envelope.

Can I mention this in cover letter to consider same evidence?

A single set of original bank statements will suffice since you are applying at the same time
