Hi Botalian

I have a question on your Class 2 documents. Since you're running a limited company, why do you pay Class 2 NI?. Did you get an advise from your accountant?

I am paying NI Class 2 because i am not drawing salary from my LTD company .. I am only withdrawing Dividends.

I am permanent employee with Employer A and I do contracts through my Ltd company. My accountant advised me to pay Class 2 NI.

On this forum there are many members who have also mentioned that HO has asked them to provide evidence of Class 2 NI.

hang on...you are employee of limited company..so you are not supposed to pay class 2 NIC..its clearly stated in HMRC website that only sole traders need to pay class 2 NI...


you are due some refund from HMRC buddy..

Hey Potalian,

From What you say, I can understand that your accountant is not eperiensed in some area. I would advise to change the accountant immeadiately. I can advise you some good accountants.
